Genre fiction lover: Romance, Sci Fi, Fantasy, Mystery, Urban Fantasy
Vintage SEP and not in a bad way. She does her signature thing where she breaks the heroine down to rock bottom and slowly builds so that she is not only a heroine is the sense of a being a romance novel heroine but a true one to the people in the book as well. It was so fun seeing characters from previous books. I am not sure that I liked Teddy being such a Hot Throbbing God. He was such an awkward child in Fancy Pants, i would have loved to have seen some of that still lingering. But that is a small quibble. This book is a must for anyone who loves SEP.
