Loving this series so far!
All the things I enjoyed immensely about the first book remained consistently great in this one: Charley, her trademark humor, the dead people and supporting characters. I liked the mystery in this one better than the previous one. Had me dying to figure out who was behind all the murders.
The jury is still out with Reyes for me, although I like the idea of him more than I did in the previous book. I like how who and what he is deepens the mythology of the Charley's world. I still thought Charley's obsession with him dragged the forward momentum of the main mystery section. I found myself somewhat resentful of those parts.
I was bummed when I closed the book because I knew I couldn't go right out and get the next one and start reading it immediately.
Can't wait til I can.
