Tina's Reading Books

This book deserves all the kudos it is getting. The world building alone is superb. It felt fully realized and incredibly well conceived. Make no mistake, this author doesn't just mention a steamship here and a mechanical something there and voilà! we have steampunk. No the very dna of the characters, the background and basis of the plot is steeped in it so it felt completely immersive.

I thought the the balance between the mystery plot, the romance and the character progression was excellent. The writing flowed and the story really moved.

Great book.
